Data we collect
We collect account details, contact details, phone numbers, delivery addresses, order details, payment references, vendor store information, driver or delivery information, device and security logs, support messages, notification preferences and consent records.
WhatsApp, SMS and email notifications
We use phone numbers and email addresses to send transactional messages such as account updates, vendor onboarding updates, order status updates, delivery updates, service messages and customer support replies. WhatsApp, SMS and email are only used where a lawful basis applies and, where required, where consent or preference settings allow the message. We do not use WhatsApp for password reset codes, login verification or other high-risk authentication flows unless a separately approved authentication flow is introduced.
How we use data
We use personal data to create accounts, verify users, process marketplace orders, calculate delivery, send customer and vendor communications, provide support, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, improve the service and maintain platform security.
Third-party processors
We use trusted processors for hosting, databases, analytics, email, SMS, WhatsApp messaging, payment processing, fraud prevention, delivery/logistics, error monitoring and customer support. Examples include payment providers such as Stripe, messaging providers for email/SMS/WhatsApp, cloud hosting providers and delivery or logistics partners needed to fulfil orders.
Optional analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure page use and structured marketplace events. We send only privacy-filtered event details and safe campaign attribution; we do not send names, contact details, delivery addresses, payment details, authentication data or free-text searches. Google Analytics is not loaded until you consent, advertising storage and signals remain disabled, and you can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie choices.
Retention
Account and support records are kept only as long as needed for the purposes described here. Order, payment, settlement, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, accounting and audit records may be retained for longer where the law, financial controls or platform safety require it. Marketing consent records are kept so we can prove and respect your choices.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Some records may need to be retained for legal, payment, tax, dispute, fraud-prevention or audit reasons.
Account deletion
You can request deletion through the public account deletion page. We will disable access and delete or anonymise eligible personal data while retaining records that must be kept for financial, settlement, dispute, fraud-prevention, safety or audit obligations.
